Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account, adding a child, taking the Parivartan Score assessment, or purchasing a report or strategy on this platform, you ("you", "Parent", "user") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the platform.

2. What the service is

Parivartan Sutra is an online continuation of an offline student assessment-and-strategy practice. The service works as follows:

1. A parent answers a fixed set of questions about their child.
2. The child answers their own set of questions from their own account.
3. Once both sides are complete, we compute a combined "Parivartan Score" (0–50) and a Persona — a plain-language summary of the child's current hunger/desire, planning, competence, and resistance levels, along with a suggested improvement strategy.
4. A short free summary is shown immediately; a detailed A/B/C breakdown and spider-chart report are available for a one-time payment.
5. A matched "Strategy" — a structured improvement plan — can be purchased separately by the parent, and progress against it can be tracked over time by both parent and child.

3. Not a medical or psychological diagnosis

The Parivartan Score, Persona, and any report or suggestion generated by this platform are not a medical, psychological, psychiatric, or clinical diagnosis of any kind, and are not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or educational-counselling advice. The assessment is a structured self-report questionnaire intended to give parents and students a general, motivational snapshot of study habits, planning, and mindset, based on the answers provided. It does not evaluate, diagnose, or treat any learning disability, mental health condition, or medical condition. If you have concerns about your child's mental health, learning ability, or wellbeing, please consult a qualified doctor, psychologist, or educational professional — do not rely on this platform's output as a clinical assessment.

4. Accounts & roles

The platform has three types of accounts:

• Parent — the primary account holder. A parent registers independently, adds one or more children, and is the only role that can purchase reports and strategies.
• Child (Student) — cannot self-register. A child's login (using either a mobile number or a username, set by the parent) is created by their parent from the parent's own account, and a child is linked to exactly one parent.
• Admin — manages platform content (the question bank, strategy library) and provides account support; admin accounts are internal and not self-service.

You agree to provide accurate information when registering and to keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

5. Parent responsibility for child accounts

Because a child cannot create or manage their own account, the parent who adds a child and creates that child's login is responsible for that child's use of the platform — including the accuracy of the information entered on the child's behalf, safeguarding the child's login credentials, and deciding whether/when the child should use the platform. If a child forgets their password, only the parent can reset it from their own account; there is currently no self-service recovery path for a child.

6. Payments & refunds

Payments on this platform are processed securely through Razorpay. Two types of purchases are currently offered:

• The detailed Parivartan Score report (₹499), which unlocks the full A/B/C breakdown, spider-chart, and personalised suggestions once both the parent's and child's halves of the assessment are complete.
• A Strategy from our library, matched to the child's score, with its own price and duration as shown at the time of purchase.

We do not collect or store your card, UPI, or net-banking details ourselves — that is handled directly by Razorpay's secure checkout. Our refund policy is not yet formally defined. If you believe you were charged in error, or wish to request a refund, please contact us at parivartansutra@gmail.com and we will review your request on a case-by-case basis.

7. Prohibited use

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that violates any applicable law or regulation.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to another user's account, or to any part of the platform you are not authorised to access.
• Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to bypass the platform's security, rate-limiting, or authentication mechanisms.
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or systematically extract data from the platform other than your own account's data.
• Submit false or misleading information when registering an account or adding a child.
• Use the platform to harass, abuse, or harm another person, including another child.

8. Intellectual property

The Parivartan Score methodology, question bank, scoring formulas, strategy content, branding, and platform design are the property of Parivartan Sutra and may not be copied, reproduced, or redistributed without our prior written permission. You retain ownership of the personal information and answers you or your child submit, subject to our Privacy Policy.

9. Limitation of liability

The platform, its assessment, scores, personas, and strategy suggestions are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including as to accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Parivartan Sutra and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, opportunity, or goodwill, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the platform — including any decision made based on a Persona, score, or strategy suggestion. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable Indian law.

10. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate an account that we reasonably believe violates these terms, poses a security risk, or is used for prohibited purposes. You may stop using the platform, or request deletion of your account, at any time by contacting us — see our Privacy Policy for how account/data deletion requests are handled.

11. Governing law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these terms or your use of the platform will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time as the platform evolves. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the platform after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
